Katie Lynn McFarland was born on June 21, 1982, to Lee and Gary McFarland. She began gymnastics in 1990 and by 1994 Katie was already competing at the Elite level. Katie had a short, yet sucessful career in Elite gymnastics, with the highlight being a spot on the US Senior National Team in 1998. Katie, currently in her first semester of college, is now perparing to move forward with her life. Having accepted a full scholarship to the University of Florida, Katie plans to compete at the collegiete level of gymnastics. For whatever dreams and goals Katie may have set for the future, we wish her all the best!
