Before the event started, the following wrestlers signed autographs: Greg "the Hammer" Valentine, the Haystack Brothers, Navajo Kid, Johnny "Psycho" Paine
NWC Promoter T.C. Martin enters the ring at 7:35pm. He dedicated the evening to the late Junkyard Dog and salutes him with a 10-bell salute. This lasted four minutes.
1st match: Cyclo Mexicano & 3rd Dimension vs. Haystack Brothers Haystacks, faces, win this match with a double pin after one of the Haystacks powerbombs the other on top of Cyclo Mexicano and then does a backwards flip onto 3rd Dimension. Match started at 7:47pm and ended at 7:57pm. It had it moments with series of exchanges, but nothing too special. 1.5*
2nd match: Russian Bruise vs. Big Q (both names were hard to get) Both men were out of shape, especially Russian Bruise who also looked too old to even wrestle. This was T.C.'s attempt of the 80's wrestling as it looked more like a Nicolai Volkoff vs. Junkyard Dog matchup. Russain Bruise was "undefeated" and made his NWC debut in this match. On the other hand, Big Q, was a weak 90's version attempt of the Junkyard Dog, with his countless head butts from his knees. A splash off of the top ropes got the win for Russian Bruise. Match started at 8:22pm and over by 8:33pm. 0*
3rd match: D. Dog vs. "Psycho" Johnny Paine with Madame Zania D. Dog got the crowd going with cheap heat by addressing them as wet backs. This got them to throw paper into the ring, which would continue all night. Paine came to the ring and knocked out the ref, who would be knocked around a lot for this match. D. Dog got the timekeeper's bell and was going to use it, only to get kicked in the face while holding it. Paine covers him and makes the pin himself while using a knocked out ref. No decision was made however. Match started at 8:14 and ended at 8:17pm. 0*
Interview with Don Juan He is suspended according to the storyline from the last time NWC was in town, which I missed. T.C. Martin would not allow him to compete and had NWC Commisioner Jim Stevens indefinately suspend Don Juan after he tried to use a doctor's note saying he had a disease called SRH (something Retention Headache). Very loud chants of "boring" from the crowd. Don Juan then hit Stevens before Paine, the Haystacks, and Navajo Kid all came to help Stevens. Started at 8:22pm and ended mercifully at 8:33pm.
4th match: Sabu vs. Bobby Bradley for the NWC title in the co-main event Both men worked well together and the match was entertaining. Some highlights included Sabu throwing Bradley into the ref who was in the way and Bradley gave him a vicious clothesline that happened so fast, if you blinked you would have missed it. Even the ref, David Hogg, sold it very well. Then Sabu threw Bradley outside and into the first row of people. Next Sabu used a chair and ran off of them onto the top rope and dove into the crowd onto Bradley. Later, Sabu smashed Bradley through a table. Standing ovation for Sabu and very loud chants of "Sabu" and "ECW". Match ended when Sabu used a chair off the top rope and did a leg drop on Bradley for the three count. Both men shook hands and hugged showing sportsmanship. Match started at 8:37pm and ended at 8:48pm. 3*
Intermission until 9:30pm, take your picture with Jake "the Snake" Roberts or Sabu. I decided to take my picture with Sabu and it will be avaliable to view as soon as I can get it up on my website at:

It is scanned, so for those who would like to see it, feel free to email me.
T.C. Martin is back in the ring now and introduces Sacramento's hometown hero, Tony "the Tiger" Lopez. For those who don't know, he was a former world boxing champion in his weight class.
5th match: Power Twins vs. Navajo Kid & Port Sacio (?) Navajo Kid was trapped in the ropes and the Power Twins double teamed on the Reckless Youth/Chavo Guerrero wannabe for the easy win. After the match, they then started to double team on the Navajo Kid, who was then saved by a "fan" who came to see "the greatest wrestler tonight". Basically, the NWC now has an all Native American tag team in their promotion. Match started at 9:41pm and ended at 9:49pm. 1/2*
6th match: Mustafa Saed vs. Suicide Kid Suicide Kid, forgive me as I don't know the name of this move, did that flip backwards into an elbow ala Hakushi on Saed twice. Kid didn't really get to show off his talents as I have seen him before and he impressed me a great deal, however, tonight was not it. He did sell well. Match came to an end when Saed had his feet on the rope as he covered Kid. Match started at 9:55pm and ended at 10:07pm. 2*
7th match: Greg "the Hammer" Valentine & Honky Tonk Man vs. Jake "the Snake" Roberts & Mystery Partner (Koko B. Ware) HTM got the crowd going with some mic work. Here are some note worthy things he said:
"I haven't sang that song in four years because the WCW fired my ass." - HTM on his "Honka Honka Honky Love" theme song.
"You suck it" - HTM with how he felt with the fans when they told him he sucked. He also did some DX crotch chops. Very funny to see him attempt that.
Finally the match begins and out comes Koko B. Ware through the crowd. Jake takes a beating all night. HTM then tells Jake, "Say it Jake. Say I suck." Jake replies with, "Fuck you!!!" Later, Jake DDTs Valentine only for HTM to hit Jake with a foreign object and then he pinned him. Match started at 10:34pm and ended at 10:50pm. 1*
Overall, terrible show. Only Sabu vs. Bobby Bradley was worth watching and Suicide Kid did what he could with Saed. If you do the math, 8* total divided by 7 matches equal 1.14*
