Bandits continue resurgence with convincing win over falling Attack

Bandits (2-1) goaltender Matt Disher made 53 in earning Game MVP honors, leading Buffalo to an important home win over Albany (1-3) in front of a small Buffalo crowd of 6,742. John Tavares led all scorers with 2 goals and 7 assists, while Albany was led by ex-Bandit Darris Kilgour with 7 points (2G, 5A).

New York 13 @ Philadelphia 15

NLL's largest crowd of season see Saints comeback fall short

The Philadelphia Wings (3-1) held off a furious New York Saints (2-3) rally to improve to 3-0 at home in front of 16,750 fans at the First Union Center. The Saints scored the last three goals of the game, after Gee Nash replaced Chris Levis, but it wasn't enough to come back from a 15-10 deficit. The Wings were led by Gewas Schindler and Jake Bergey (Game MVP) with 3 goals and 3 assists apiece. The Saints leading scorers were Roy Colsey and Darrin Lowe, who each had 6 points. The rematch is in Nassau Coliseum next Friday.

Toronto 9 @ Rochester 14

Toronto's lack of offensive punch leads to loss in Rochester

10,181 fans in the Blue Cross Arena in Rochester saw what they were hoping for on Saturday night, even if they would have preferred to see it 9 months ago in the 1999 NLl Championship game. Toronto (3-1) failed to score 12 goals for the third consective game, however this time they had to deal with the offense of Rochester (3-1), which had enough to beat Bob Watson enough to earn the win. A rematch will occur next Friday night, this time in MLG.
