Toronto wins lowest scoring game in NLL history

Toronto (2-0) continued to be unbeaten at Maple Leaf Gardens on Friday, winning a defensive struggle 9-5 over the struggling New York Saints (1-2). Chris Gill scored 4 goals for the Rock, while game MVP Dan Stroup scored 3 goals and an assist. Roy Colsey led the Saints with a goal and two assists. 13,476 fans witnessed the Rock victory, the largest NLL crowd this year.

Pittsburgh stuns Wings in front of Baltimore like crowd

Kip Fulks, game MVP, scored with :27 seconds remaining to lift the Crossefire (2-2) to a rare win over the visiting Wings (1-1). A crowd of only 4,521 came thru the snow to witness the return of lacrosse to the Steel City. The victory spoiled the recod setting game of Kevin Finneran, who played in his 97th consecutive game.
