The Saints (3-7) scored a total of one goal in the first, third, and fourth quarters in a 16-6 loss to the Albany Attack (5-3) Friday night. The Attack jumped out to a 9-5 halftime lead, and completely dominated play in the second half in front of 4,330 fans in the Pepsi Arena. Game MVP Rob Blasdell saved 39 of 45 shots for Albany, while the combination of goaltenders for New York (Levis, 21 of 30 and LoCascio 8 of 15) was ineffective. New York will see it's playoff hopes end if Buffalo and Philadelphia come through with wins on Saturday night.

Rochester (5-4) jumped all over Buffalo (5-3) early, building up a 9-1 lead before hanging on in front of 9,269 fans at the Blue Cross Arena for a important 16-13 win. Pat O'Toole made 43 of 59 saves to earn game MVP honors. Buffalo's Matt Disher was chased early after allowing 5 goals on six shots. O'Neill made 19 saves on the next thirty shts, but it wasn't enough to win. John Grant led the Hawks offense, while Derek Malawsky put up a hat rick for the Bandits.

Philadelphia (5-2) held a 16-9 lead early in the fourth quarter over Syracuse (0-7), but had to hang on until Matt Oglesby scored an empty net goal with under 1 minute remaining to ice the 17-14 Wings' victory. The victory vaults the Wings into first place in the NLL. The game was Andy Piazza first start of the season, whiel the Wings regular starter, Dallas Eliuk, served the first of his two game suspension. Tom Marechek was game MVP with 4 goals and 2 assists, while the new addition to the Wings, Mark Millon, contributed three goals and four assists against his old club. The Smash were led by newly acquired Jeff Wilfong, with 2 goals and four assists. The attendence was not announced, but appeared to be under 1,000.
