Alan Shearer began his career as a trainee with Southampton and was quickly promoted to the senior team. He than moved to Blackburn Rovers for a fee of over £3.5 million. He played 132 league games with Blackburn, before moving to Newcastle for the world record fee of £15 million. He has been one of England's greatest strikers and will be captaining them in Fance next year.
