Well, it's been a while.  But I do have a legitimate excuse.., first off, I had another surgery (no I'm not looking for sympathy so ease up), and to boot there really didn't seem to be a whole-hell-of-a-lot of folks visiting the page, and of course Jon never showed.  Anyway, I'm out of bed now, got some emails asking about the picks, and then in the same week, I hear from Jon.  He says he'd like to get back into posting his picks, I think he just got his feelings hurt after seeing "and a player to named later" in his old usual spot.  Either way, I'm glad he's back, although I still have a sneaking suspicion he'll bail out come bowl time.  Let's hope not.

College Football Saturday

Ohio St. +5  at  Michigan

We're not afraid to go after the big games here.  I'm Blue through and through, but Ohio St. has got one helluva defense going for them, and I even see their D scoring in this one.  They've pulled out a few games for the team so far this year, but the buck stops in the Big House.., in a defensive juggernaut..,   Michigan 9  Ohio St. 7

Kentucky +19  at  Georgia

I can't tell you how dissapointed I am with the Bulldogs this year.  Preseason I had rated as the #5 team in the country.., I didn't see the big letdown..But it's here and it's here to stay..,    Georgia 37  Kentucky 24

LSU -6.5  at  Ole Miss

Manning is the best player who won't win the Heisman this year..., why??  Cause he ain't leading his team to enough victories.., no change here.  LSU still has hopes of playing in the Sugar.., won't happen as USC grooves right back into the number two slot.., but LSU will do everything it can to sway some voter.   LSU 42  Ole Miss 17

Baltimore -2.5  vs  Seattle

When the Seahawks can't run.., they got NO game at all.   They won't be running on this D either.  But Jamal will, and he'll run well..   Baltimore 20  Seattle 6

This must be a misprint.  Sure Dallas is sitting pretty, but they're not pretty..The Panthers will confuse Carter and shut down the mystical Cowboy offense...   Carolina 24   Dallas 13
