I'm not much of a football fan but I lived in Enfield until I was three so that's who I support, not much competition living between Leicester and Coventry! I did see the E's play Leicester a few years ago where we lost 2-0 due to missing Gary Abbott. Why did we have such a poor 1999/2000 season, is it down to the ground move? Will things improve next season?

Great website. I left Enfield in 1966, but have been following the E's ever since. I now live in Worthing, and the sorry mess re the ground is almost an axact repeat of what happened to Brighton. So lets hope it's sorted out soon.

Greetings from Melbourne, Australia, from an Enfield ex-pat.
This is an excellent website. Congratulations. I only hope that you have as good a story to tell on the new stadium wherever that may be.
I will be visiting home in September and I hope that the issue is resolved then and that I am watching the E's at a new, permanent, and hopefully acceptable to all, stadium that serves the club as well as Southbury road, and for as long.
