Christopher John (CJ) Nitkowski a 26 yr.old left- hander relief pitcher for the Detroit Tigers.He was on the Cincinnati Reds in 95.In 96 he played for the Detroit Tigers.Then they traded him along with Brad Ausmus, Trever Miller, Jose Lima and Daryle Ward to the Houston Astros.The Astros gave them Doug Brocail, Brian Hunter, Todd Jones, Orlando Miller and a player who I don't know The date was December 10,1996.On January 14,1999 CJ Nitkowski and Brad Ausmus got traded back to the Detroit Tigers

.The Tigers traded Dean Crow, Mark Persails and Brian Powell, catcher Paul Bako and infielder Carlos Villalobos
