Ferrari
In my opinion (and the rest of the Italian population), Ferrari are the greatest car manufacturers in the world. Enzo Ferrari, an Italian who set out to try and conquer motorsport, created Ferrari in the 1950's. Sadly Enzo died in the 1980's, but during his life he certainly accomplished his dream.
Thankfully he left behind a formidable F1 team, who after a long period of bad seasons have things finally looking up for them, as they are winning races. The outcome of the 1999 season, with 5 wins and the championship going down to the last race had fulfilled many expectations, which allows me to remain extremely optimistic about next season. I have great faith in this team and I know they'll do it!
FORZA FERRARI!
As for my favourite Ferrari model, my personal favourite is the F50, a Formula 1 car for the road. It's sleek and sexy lines are styled by Pininfarina. Only 249 were built and Ferrari only invited a select few to buy cars, for a price of roughly £350,000. It was built to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Ferrari, ten years after the F40.
