Click here for an arial veiw of the campus. St Johns University is located in central Minnesota. The campus is situated on 2400 acres surrounded by woods. There are two lakes on campus, the Sag and the Watab. (below left) A winter evening at St Johns. (below right) An arial view of the Quad that houses offices, classrooms and the Great Hall where you can pick up some of that great Johnie bread.
These are the two places I lived while attending St. Johns. (below left) St Thomas Hall- My home freshman year. 4th Tommy is a freshman floor, where we all got our introduction to college life. (below right) Gregg House- Sophmore year was spent living in basement Gregg. Gregg House had been the original Campus Infirmary but now housed an odd collection of the studious and the bizarar.
Every Saturday during football season you'll find me at the computer listening to the St John's football game. So I decided to add a page on the St John's football team and one on there great coach, John Gagliardi. So check out one of the top football programs in the country here: ST JOHN'S FOOTBALL
And last but not least is the St Johns Church. This has a special meaning for us as Jill and I where married here in 1977. The church is huge with the choir stalls alone seating 200. We didn't need quit that much room but it was a great setting for a wedding and the monks were nice enough to let us have our wedding pictures taken in the Monastic gardens. A beautiful setting to be married in. Click here for some photos of this beautiful church.
Thanks for joining me on this short tour of one of the greatest
colleges in the midwest. If you'd like more info on St Johns and
life at Johnnieland or about their sister school St. Ben's just
click on the seal.
