Peelers' notes (updated 6/5/98): Mike Lansing (20D) broke out of a 12-for-88 slump with three hits in Thursday's game...Doug Glanville (1B) has hit in 42 of his last 46 games, batting .345, to raise his average from .174 to .314. Glanville leads the league in multiple-hit games (26). He ranks second in triples (five), fourth in hits (73) and is tied for fourth in runs (46)...Brett Tomko (5B) had a rough outing Wednesday, allowing seven runs in 4 1/3 innings. Tomko (5-4, 4.35 ERA) was 3-1 in April, but since is 2-3 with a 6.10 ERA...Greg Vaughn (6A) hit his 20th HR on Thursday against Houston. He has had a HR at least once in 10 consecutive series...Reserved this week by the Peelers, Darryl Kile (10B) still hasn't won a game at Coors Field. He is 5-3 with a 2.89 ERA on the road and 0-4 with a 7.59 ERA at home...Richard Hidalgo (10B) separated his left shoulder running into the outfield wall last Friday. He’ll probably miss four to six weeks. Carl Everett is the likely starter in centefield...After getting roped both as a starter and in a brief relief stint, Florida’s Andy Larkin (reserve, 6th) was sent to AAA. Ryan Dempster (free agent) will take his place in the Florida rotation.
