Referee gives victory to Attacus

Jumping Crabs also lost their 4th and last game of this season against Attacus. They are the only team Jumping Crabs could never beat. Only this time, they had to go into overtime to seal the victory, and they needed an unbelievable bad referee to help them.

The first half Attacus started strong and dominated on the boards. This was due to many injuries Jumping Crabs had to cope with. Missing Stefan, Andrew, Joost en Gert-Jan we had a very small team lined-up. Attacus took advantage of this and controlled the rebound. Very fast they took a lead of over 20 points! But at the end of the first half, JC switched to a zone defence and that worked. Attacus began playing very nervous. The big guys were kept out of the paint, and there was almost no outside shooting thread. So very slowly JC came closer to Attacus, and they became even more nervous. Also their free throws were really bad. There was only one problem, and it had a whistle in its mouth. One referee, the worst one I have ever seen in my entire career, decided to call for the most unbelievable things. Maybe 10 times he called a walk (never was). All hussle-balls went to Attacus. But the most terrible call was a block by the center of Attacus, who slammed the ball straight outta bounds. Everybody was lining up to take the out of bounds (for us), when the ref pointed the other way. First thinking he was mistaking (by accident) we said it was of course the other way. He said NO. Attacus ball. The whole hall in disbelieve. How is it possible to be so blind? After this call he continued to make one bad call after another. He truely gave away the game to Attacus. Without a doubt he is the biggest motherfucker I have ever met, and I sure hope I will never see him again. I think I go nuts if I see him again. I also hope he reads this; ref, FUCK YOU!!! Well, anyway, the loss was a shame. We should have won, although we were dealing with a lot of injuries. We should have at least won one game of Attacus this season. It would have given us a secure 5th place. A great comeback like in this game should be rewarded. Thanks ref....
