Hello and welcome to my Home Page.

I'm very glad that you made it this far...and I hope that
you'll stick around long enough to get to know just a
little bit more about me and my life. After all, these days, acquaintances that begin in cyberspace are often the
most real, vivid, and long-lasting - and maybe that will be true of us.

I have met so many great people and I want to thank
you for all the conversations and friendships you have given me...and believe me some have been very INTERESTING!!

The End of an Era in Denver

Nothing will erase the memory of the
comebacks, the unabashed bravado and
belief in his ability that made John Elway
the best in the business when faced with
an unfavorable score and a menacing
clock.
But the most indelible image of Elway's
career came after winning his second
straight SuperBowl, when he showed the
joy, satisfaction and contentment
reserved for the rare few who have
accomplished everything and seem to
understand it's time to go. John Elway,
arguably the greatest quarterback ever,
has nothing left to play for and retired
from the NFL after 16 years of brilliance,
championships and excitement.

In just five minutes John Elway transformed
himself from a good quarterback to a great Quarterback.
In just five minutes John Elway took his first
steps toward a spot in the Hall of Fame. And,
in just five minutes John Elway took his team to the SuperBowl.
Elway is the master of the fourth-quarter
comeback, and his whole resume of being
a skilled technician can be summed
up in two words: "The Drive." On a cold, windy day in Cleveland, John Elway took his team
on a trip, a 98-yard 15 playtrip that lasted
only five minutes. But, when the dust settled
in the endzone, wide receiver Mark Jackson
had caught a five-yard bullet from Elway
and the Broncos found themselves tied 20-20
with the Browns, and looking at new life in
overtime. "It was kind of my stepping out,"
Elway said. "That was finally the game that
put me on the map." After Rich Karlis
kicked a 33-yard field goal with 5:38 left in
overtime, the Denver Broncos were poised to
continue their trip in the Super Bowl, the
second for the Broncos, but more importantly
the first for Elway. If Elway never
goes on to win the Super Bowl, his most
sought-afterfootball goal, he is certain of spot
on the wall in the Hall of Fame, and one of the
main reasons is "The Drive." It will forever be
remembered by fans as the most important
and most spectacular event in Denver Bronco history and they have one man to thank.
