Swimmers that have not paid their 2006 registration fees need to do so as soon as possible. The fee is $35.00 plus a family snack bar fee of $15.00. Team suits require an additional cost.
The 8th Annual Team Welcome Back Potluck is scheduled for Friday, March 3, 2006. Practice for ALL swimmers begins at 5:00PM. The potluck will begin at 6:15 PM. If your initials begin with M - Z please begin a Main Dish to serve 8 to 10 people. E - L begin Side Dishes and A-D begin Desserts.
Congratulation to Ian Mc Donald for being selected to the Southern California Swimming Festival Meet. This is an all-star meet with swimmers being selected based on their performance at the Winter Age Group Championships and the Winter Invitational meets in December. This is Ian second year in a row qualifying for this meet. EHRD had several other swimmers come close to qualifying for this meet.
Congratulation to EHRD swimmers that attended the Winter AA Championship meet on December 9 -11 in Long Beach. The team had a very successful meet with many personal best times. In team scoring, EHRD finished 13th among all teams scoring points in the meet and fourth among Eastern Section teams at that meet. The boys team had an exceptional meet finishing third among all boys teams at the meet and first among Eastern Section teams at this meet.
Thank you to the parents for getting the swimmers to the pool on time every day and cheering for all the swimmers as they swam.
