my family owned an a.h.l. team, in pittsburgh, pa in the 40's, 50's and 60's and the a.h.l. has always been close to my heart. the team was called the pittsburgh hornets and had a lot of great players: tim horton, george "the chief"armstrong, pete backer baz bastin, "wild bill" ezinikie, the hannigan bro's., tim costello,leo bovien, gil mayer to name just a few hap day and bill clancy were always around. we were the toronto maple leafs farm team. joe tucker and bob prince (of pittsburgh pirate fame) ca ed the action. those were great years. our arch rivals were the cleveland barons, hershey bears and eddie shore's springfield indians . well, enough reminiscing. best regards john harris sheridan

I've had the privlidge of watching Casey play while he was playing in Portland and he is one of the nicest guys I've ever met.
