A little bit about the person who makes the website...

My name is Alice, I am a 19 year-old girl and I live in a city called Porto Alegre, located in the south of Brazil. I study Languages (English) in the State University.

When I first saw Del Piero, during the 1998 World Cup, I was impressed by his beauty on the first place... Little time after this, I used the Internet to know more about him, and discovered the many great things he had done in the past for Juve. And I realized he was not only a good looking man but a terrific player.

Little by little, my love for Alex and for Juventus grow, as did my love for football. Before the World Cup, I simply couldn't stand football!! Now I really enjoy it. Here in Brazil, I support Internacional, a squad from my city. The club's past is full of glory, but although today things aren't as great anymore, we have an OK squad. 

Besides Alex (who's the number one!), my favourite players are mostly from Serie A, because this is the only league I follow closely: Fabio Cannavaro, Alessandro Nesta, Francesco Coco, Stefano Fiore, Javier Saviola, Hernán Crespo, Vincenzo Montella. I also like the Juventus players, of course, with a special fondness for Matteo Brighi, Enzo Maresca, Paolo Montero, Cristian Zenoni, Pavel Nedved, Igor Tudor and Gigi Buffon. Anyway, they are all just great!... ;-Þ

I can say that my life changed a lot after I started to like Alex. I knew many people who also liked Alex, Juve and football. I found out that Italian is another language I like, and I even learned some of it by reading news in the Italian websites, and watching the matches on Rai! I learned many things about other countries, by talking to people from abroad and also seeing players coming from such different places made me curious!

Cinema was my big passion before discovering football. I don't like it that much anymore but it's always good to watch a movie when things aren't good on the football area! :-) My favourite style is comedy!

Football also made it possible that I got very interested in Italian music! My favourite artists/bands are Giuliodorme, Lùnapop, Nek, Velvet, Sottotono, Eros Ramazzotti, Gianluca Grignani. I also like dance/techno, a little something of Beatles and almost all kinds of music music in Spanish. These songs usually follow me when I am writing e-mails or doing the website...
