I don't have the time, nor the enegry to actually bike across the country..
but it's a tempting idea. To solve the issue, I searched the internet and
found a good route which starts in Boston, Massachusetts and ends in Irvine, CA.
I'm not sure if I'll be able to complete the ride, so it will be an interesting test
of commitment. The particular route I found covers a total of 3,445 miles. I'm hoping to complete the ride by Thanksgiving.
Since I'm not actually going to be riding across the country, I will be riding a stationary bike! There are some clear advantages to the stationary bike over the conventional bike.
1. It's safer
2. I'll be able to stay at school and not miss school work
3. I can watch TV while I bike!!
