
TAKE DOWNS
These moves should not be practiced without the supervision from a qualified instructor.
SINGLE LEG TAKE DOWN:
This is used when someone grabs you from the front with one hand.
Step around the attacker's front leg with both feet, while blocking the arm.
Once you have your foot behind the attacker's leg, kick back while pushing his chin with your free hand.
It makes the attacker fall backwards.
ARM WEAVE:
This is used when someone is choking you with both hands.
Move your arm over one of his and then under the eldow of the other.
Use your free hand to help the one under the elbow push off the choke.
It knocks the arms off to the side.
WRIST RELEASE:
This is used if someone grabs your arm.
Twist your wrist tward the thumb of the attacker.
It releases the grip.
LEG GRAB:
This is used when someone puts a head-lock on you from behind.
Step wide and reach under your legs to grab the attacker's leg, then pull.
It knocks the attacker backwards.
FLIPPING OVER THE SHOULDER:
This is used when someone is strangling you with their arm from behind.
Bend your knees and grab the attacker's arm.
When you are under the attacker bend over and pull on the arm.
It knocks the attacker over your back and onto their back.
FLIPPING WITH THE LEG:
This is used when someone is choking you with both hands.
Bring your foot up into the attacker's chest while pulling on the arms with your own, and then sit down.
remember to push with your leg.
It knocks a person over your front with the leg while laying down on your back.
KNEE INTO THE BACK OF THE KNEE:
This is used when someone puts a head-lock on you while you remain behind them.
Place your knee on the back of the attackers and fall forward.
It knocks the attacker forward.
DROP TO BOTH KNEES:
This is used to escape from a bear hug.
Drop to both knees when you feel the attacker's arms coming around you.
It slips you from their arms.
