The Outdoor Education Centre run a wide variety of courses for all ages and  levels from absolute beginner to relative experts. All of these courses are run to the syllabus dictated by the relevant governing body, the RYA for sailing, windsurfing and power-boating and the BCU for canoeing.

The courses are held either at weekends or summer evenings. The emphasis is on providing  expert tuition in the safest of environments and above all having fun and making new friends. Many of the people who complete the courses go on to be members of one of the associated clubs (see the next page).

An instructor helps a couple of beginners to perfect their gybing technique.

The centre may be booked for group weekend activities and a residential block is available.
