Raw Wins Ratings for 50th Week Running

Raw posted a win over Nitro for the 50th consecutive week, winning the head-to-head battle 5.4 to 3.2. The ratings may not be double but it is still a decisive win the McMahon and company. Since Russo and Ferrera started writing for WCW, ratings are averaging 3.2, as opposed to the 3.3 ratings the last four weeks that Nash was the main booker.

Shawn on WWF and WCW

"Shawn talked a little bit about how he isn't interested in going to WCW right now, as he is under contract with the WWF for several more years (2001). However, he would consider it (going to WCW) if he were released. He said he wants to stay with the WWF."
"When asked about why he hasn't been on WWF television, HBK replied by saying that it's the WWF's call, and he is willing to return when they want him too. He went on to say that his problems with the WWF right now aren't just over some comments he's made, but also contractual. He said that he and the WWF have worked out their problems in the past, and he hopes to be on television soon."

Bret Hart comments on Shawn Michales and Vince McMahon

When asked why he thinks the WWF would keep an injured Shawn Michaels over him, Bret responded by saying that Shawn and Vince were having some sort of "gay love affair". Later on in the show, Bret said he "hadn't heard anything about the affair, but wouldn't be suprised."

Shawn and Rebecca to be featured in WOW

In December, WOW will feature an exclusive "At Home With..." interview and photo shoot with WWF Commissioner Shawn Michaels and his wife Rebecca, the former Nitro Girl known as Whisper.

Austin comments on Michaels

On Byte This!Austin had a rebuttal to the comments Shawn Michaels made on the same show back in August concerning Austin and a number of others being "promotional machines" for the WWF, and not earning their spot in the company: Austin claimed HBK was "missing the boat" with the stuff that he said. Austin said that the WWF machine creates everyone, not just certain characters. Austin said he didn't care about the comments, and that Shawn was never considered a rocket scientist anyway.
