Born in
Venezuela, Ace is a Dutchman currently living in Costa Rica. He was
raised internationally, having lived everywhere from The Netherlands
to Houston, TX.
Hakeem Olajuwon will always be his favorite Rocket, even though he
finally acknowledged that he is no longer the same player after a
disastrous game against the Knicks (see recap
page).
He is also a football fanatic, and spends his time maintaining a Dutch
national team page as well. |
Born and
raised in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, but now resides near Toronto,
Canada. Going into senior year of high school.
Credits Hakeem Olajuwon for not only making him a Rocket fan initially,
but giving him an interest into the sport of basketball as well. So,
Hakeem is by far his favourite basketball player, not only for his
incredible feats on the court, but for his strong character, faith
and sincere personality off of it.
Azim was out with friends in Viriginia celebrating Houston's first
championship, while the year after when Hakeem and co. demolished
the Magic, he was at home with a couple of anti-rocket cousins, rubbing
it in their faces! |
Born in
Houston, AntiSonic has been a Rockets fan since the 1992-93 season.
That year, the Rockets were knocked out of the playoffs by the Seattle
SuperSonics, and he has been bitter ever since. Formerly ran a Rockets/Comets
website, but became lazy and never finished its renovation. |
Born and
raised in Beaumont, TX about 1.5 hrs away from Houston. Currently
in his senior year of high school, and plans on going to Rice University
for college. Has been a Rocket fan for almost all of his life. Hakeem
Olajuwon turned him onto the game of basketball and the Rockets. His
great play on the court and his tremendous character and values off
of it made him The Cat's role model growing up.
The Cat attended both championship games, and the games and the parties
on the Houston streets afterwards were the most fun he's ever had.
Although he probably won't enjoy seeing Hakeem play next year as much
as Francis, Taylor, and Mobley, Dream will always be The Cat's favorite
Rocket. |
I've been
a Rocket fan ever since I can remember. Growing up in Katy made me
a fan of all Houston sports, but being a basketball player, the Rockets
have always been my favorite franchise anywhere. Now in Austin, I've
missed watching a grand total of one Rockets' games the past two years,
and that was because I was graduating from college that night! It's
not safe to talk to me for about two hours after a Rocket loss! |
Born in
Houston, SamCassell currently live in Austin, where he recently graduated
from law school. He’s followed the Rockets since 1986, and has been
a diehard fan for the last decade. He has fond memories (and tapes)
of the two championship teams, and looks forward to when the new,
young Rockets can take us back to the NBA Finals. His name is a homage
to the former Rocket point guard, whose clutch play as a Rocket was
only matched by the youthful enthusiasm and joy he brought to the
game. |
