This has Tara's minor stories that did not make the paper and how I feel about some of Tara's Competitions
Tara short updates:
****Stars on ice Dec 13 on TBS****
Tara was on TBS tonight (Dec. 13) in Discover SOI, she did GREAT, here is what happens....almost play by play with Tara. 1st they made me a little nervous going through the introduction and Tara was NOT there....but they just had to save the BEST for last! She came out after a commercial brake and skated to Jump Jive and Whail...what can I say but WOW! Then Lu Chen Skated, she did pretty good (I didn't like the music), and I don't know why but I think that 1 hour of this 2 hour program is going to be commercials...(Can you tell I am writing this as it happens)... Then Renna and Gorsha skated, they did good (but again I didn't like the music...(I think this is going to be all oldies music...lets hope they prove me wrong) Then Rosalynn skated, she did great (and I even liked the music!) Then Kristi Yamaguchi skated, she did good but hey what do you expect from Kristi (and her music was alright if you like orchistral music)Folling that was ANOTHER short little program by her with the assistance with Illia Kulick...or vise versa...They did good together!Then Ilia took over to do his solo and WHOA he did awesome (and for the first time I could tolerate his music!) Next up was the great, the beautiful, the one, the only TARA LIPINSKI!!! What can I say....SHE DID GREAT!!!!!!I LOVE to see her skate! (can you tell I am excited) She skated to My Fair Lady.(and I loved the music!) Then some lady skated but I missed her name I think it was Acordia (but that is just my guess), she did pretty good (and her music was alright too)THEN SCOTT SKATED!!!! HE did AWESOME!!!Scott is my 2nd favorite he skated to "1 week" By, The Bard Naked ladies (I loved the music AND his costume!)he also did a Back Flip, it is hard to believe he almost died of Cancer at one point. Up next was the circus! Now talk about funny... I could not believe how funny it was! Especially with the skaters. Tara and Scott where the funniest! However, on most skaters I could not tell who was who. Then, still in the circus part, Tara and Scott did a mirror like thing..that was sooo funny! BUT I don't want to tell you about the full thing and SPOIL it for you! but anyway, still in the circus, Tara did a solo which was very good and showed how people should be more carin, the other skaters where still out there. Then Steve Cousins chaced them off driving some zamboni. After that Tara, Scott, and Kristi where interviewed in the backstage area, it appeared to me that they REALLY liked the clown part. Then Dennis and Elena skated,they did good but guess what, I did not like the music. Kristi skated next, she did AWESOME, however I did not like the music. Then the 4 Russians came out and skated, Ilia, Dennis, Elena, and Katrina. They did SOOO AWESOME and I actually liked the music! OH but what an act to follow them, it was SCOTT skating to "Customer Satasified", he went into the audience and did a little tango with Jane Torbile, man he is a real crowd pleaser! Then finally, the cast comes out and skates to "face to face" for the closing act, it was GREAT! My overview of the whole show was, it was Teriffic! If you have a chance to get tickets and go see it, do so ASAP! I can not wait until Jan. 28 when I get to go see it! Well I will write about SOI when I go see it live on Jan. 28 so be looking forward to that. Until next time.
TARA DID AWESOME AT Jefferson Pilot Financial Pro Skating Championshipson Nov. 30! She is WINNING! Her score going in was 148.0 and her score coming out is 197.4! The closest person behind her is Suryena Bonley with the score of 195.5 She skated to The 2nd Element there today

Tara also did awesome at Ice Girls earlier that morning!, However the star of the show was NOT Tara, it was a 13 year old Cerebral Paulsery patient who skated for the audience! It was truely the most BEAUTIFUL thing I have ever seen! Tara also gave this girl a private lesson, read more about that in the News Room
