(as explained to a foreign visitor)
Each man that's in the side that's in goes out and when he's out he comes in and the next man goes in until he's out.
Each man that's in the side that's in goes out and when he's out he comes in and the next man goes in until he's out.
When they are all out the side that's out comes in and the side that's been in goes out and tries to get those coming in out.
Sometimes you get men still in and not out.
When both sides have been in and out including the not outs.
HOWZAT!!!

Cricket is a game played by 2 teams comprising of 11 players each.Although cricket originated in England during the late 1300s and early 1400s during the time of the Tudors,it is now a popular sport especially in India,Pakistan, SriLanka,Bangladesh, other parts of Asia, the Middle East especially the United Arab Emirates(which took part in the 1996 World Cup while Sharjah an important city in the U.A.E.hosts at least 2 tournaments every year)Africa(namely South Africa,Zimbabwe and Kenya),the West Indies,Australia and of course England(where it is the national sport).Nowadays cricket is also being promoted in European nations like the Netherlands(which also took part in the '96 World Cup)and also in the United States of America and Canada(which has been hosting an international tournament-the Sahara Cup for the last couple of years).Like millions of other Indians I'm a great fan of cricket. So,I've decided to dedicate this site to all YOU die-hard fans who eat cricket, sleep cricket and perhaps also drink cricket(he!he!he!get my joke?).You'll find plenty of pictures, records, statistics, player profiles, intersting information, facts and links. This site has plenty of GIF and JPG images and uses a fair amount of JAVA technology and other such cryptic silly-lookin',gothic extreme gobbledygook. The JAVA applets may take a while to load,so please be patient.Don't forget to sign my guest book(see parallel column to left),or simply fill out the feedback form below. Also do enter your e-mail address in my new mailing list below so that I can keep informing YOU of the latest updates and click on the graphic below to vote for this site as a STARTING POINT HOT SITE.I hope you enjoy this cricket site and keep returning for more!
