Here, at this page I just wanted to show my music
preferences.... Those ones which would never betray me ... Yes I know,
with years our music tastes changes all the time ... but this my music
influenced on me more than other one and from time to time I'll take
those CD's from the shelf and enjoy like the first time listening

Pink Floyd, "The Wall", 1979
|
|
... hm, what to say about this album?
I think it's Pink Floyd's most ambitious project. Every song (both
lyrics and music) is just wonderful. Though complex, they move at
a relaxed pace, allowing the listener to absorb them slowly; this
kind of pacing was something Pink Floyd excelled at. I even can't
call my favorite song there, maybe Hey You, maybe Mother,
maybe Another Brick in the Wall or The Happiest
Days of Our Lives ... no, no, no ... everything is fantastic
on this album. After each my listening I feel myself so tired and
overwhelmed by wonderful feelings at the same time. I've been listening
it almost 20 years already and have to say will listen it till I have
hearing :-).

Pink Floyd, "Atom heart mother", 1970
|
|
... another great Pink Floyd's album
:-). This is a wonderful example of the creative and amazing works
of early Pink Floyd. The title track Atom Heart Mother
is a wonderful opus mixing classical, rock and funk with great effect.
I feel myself like going by a long corridor of my life with a lot
of opened doors which look like different life's stories and finally
they come to the whole story - my real life. Other tracks are very
peculiar too. There is definitely something to think about there.
Don't meet that chance. Each time after listening this album I think
"Unfortunately time when music was not only money-making industry
gone"...

Roger Waters, "Amused to death", 1992
|
|
... and this is one of my ex-Floyd's
love story ... It's Water's best solo album and his ability to produce
an album which tells a story is just amazing thing. I like all the
song in this album .... music and lyrics are fantastic ... you listen
to it with one breath forgotten all the thing in a real world. I never
thought I would really love someone's solos after Pink Floyd's split.
What a pity, it seems to me this was his last album.

Queen, "Innuendo", 1991
|
|
Yeah, the last Queen's album :-(
sad ... but as Freddy sang "The show must go on".
As for me it's my favorite their album whatever critics say. Maybe
I love it just for the wonderful and amazing song The show must
go on, who knows. But other songs is very nice for me too,
especially These Are The Days Of Our Lives and the first
one Innuendo. Sometimes when I'm in a bad mood I take
this CD and find out there some inspiration for the life .... don't
try so hard ... the show must go on ...

Manfred Mann's Earth Band, "Soft vengeance", 1996
|
|
... Yes you can say: "and
what about Nightingales And Bombers"... love it too
:-) but there is not such pearls like Wherever Love Drops
there ... small, but amazing songs that's really drive you to another
world. I really love Manfred Mann's keyboards. When I listen to them
I feel like something trying to extract somewhat from inside me ...
hard to explain that feeling due my English :-)

Al Di Meola, "Elegant Gypsy", 1976
|
|
This is some of my jazz experience
... wonderful, incredible, amazing ... and Race With The Devil
On Spanish Highway is just the best. The music affects your
emotions, takes them up, down, and all around ... just fantastic guitarist
... to say the truth since I'm not a jazz person, I never thought
that can listen jazz so easy and with so much joy:-)
 |
|
John McLaughlin "The promise", 1996
|
|
... another jazz title :-) ... to
say truth not that easy in listening ... I asked myself several times
"Why have I bought this CD?" ... but as I noticed
already sometimes I really don't like great music after first listening
and even after several times :-) Have been listening to CD frequently
and always find something new that is happening each time I experience
it. I really can't explain my feelings .... they are all the different
each time I have it into my CD Player. I only can say "I feel
like I'm somewhere far away from my reality, like in jungle"
and this is really what I love it for.

Paco De Lucia "Antologia", 1995
|
|
... Spanish guitar ... always loved
it but never had a chance to listen to it on any records except some
TV shows ... now I have that chance ... what to say .... just WONDERFUL
and nothing else. No, I'm not Spaniard, but feel this kind of music
by all my organs. I guess there is not such a person in the world
who would not love this music, because it's so natural and glorious.
Thank you Paco for your wonderful guitar and music.

just my final words and nothing else :-)
|
|
... well, you can say: "That's just words, not more". Of course,
you are right, but I think if you have a great imagination you can
hear MUSIC instead of those words. And if you have those CDs or
DVDs just put it into your drive, then LISTEN and THINK. The music
will say all you want to hear.
As you could see, I introduced here only English-language music
and you can ask me : "And what about Russian music, do you like
it?". Yes, of course... :-) And I've put here one of my favorite
Russian
song "10000 kilometers". It's something
different from English music :-) Listen to it... and I have to warn
you, it's a MP3 file and you should have a MP3's player on your
computer. Enjoy :-)
