- All players placed on the election ballot, are placed there by myself.
- While I have the final decision on who goes on the ballot, visitors may nominated suggestions for me to review.
- For a player to be on the election ballot, they must be retired. A player becomes eligible for the ballot immediately after they retire. There is no waiting period.
- There must be a minimum of five players on each election ballot.
- All voting for the Hall of Fame inductees will be done by visitors to this site, via a poll. I will place one vote for my personal choice.
- There is no set time limit for the voting period. However, a minimum of 7 full days must be set aside for voting for an election to be official.
- For a player to be elected into the Hall of Fame, they must receive at least 25% of the vote. Any player who receives at least 25% of the vote will be considered elected into the hall of fame. This makes it possible for a maximum of 4 players to be elected from one ballot.
- In the case where no one is elected, I reserve the option to personally place the highest vote getter into the Hall of Fame. I do not have to use this option, and can pass on it. A player who enters the Baseball World Hall of Fame in this manner will not be considered Elected, but Acclaimed instead.
- In the case where I have reasonable doubt to the accuracy of the poll, I reserve the right to cancel the poll in mid-progress. Reasons to cancell a poll must have to do with accuracy, and nothing else, and they are at my disgression.
- Once elected to the Hall of Fame, no player can be removed under any circumstances. Special notes may be added to a players place in the Hall of Fame, but no player may be removed at all.
