Threw for 2,800 yards and 21 TDs over the last 2 seasons completing nearly 60% of his passes.  Sun News "Toast of the Coast" 1st. Team QB.  Wake Forest recruited but backed off late.

Drew recruiting attention from 27 different schools, early by Tenn, very strong and accurate arm, rated pre-season  #1 QB prospect in N.C. by Tom Lemmings Prep Report, also ranked among the nations top 20 prospects in Super Prep Magazine and The Sporting News, has really only played 2 seasons of football, outstanding baseball player, 4.8 speed.

Recruited Walk On, All Conference, led NC in interceptions, turned down grant to Catawba, outstanding wrestler, brother (Neil) plays at ASU, 4.7 speed.

Two year All Conference player, terrific DB, 4.5 speed. 

Brandon Gentry         DL         6'3"         230             Shelby, NC             Crest HS
Shrine Bowl, team won 1996 NC 4-A state championship, team was 1997 NC 4-A state runner-up, career sack leader at Crest HS, long arms,  also recruited by Chattanooga, ETSU, Furman and Wofford, 4.7 speed. 

Antar Green         DB/LB         6'3"         220             Stone Mtn, GA             Tucker HS/Ga. Military College
Ga. Military Juco, two-year starter at strong safety, this past season had 48 tackles, including 4 tackles for losses, intercepted 4 passes and broke up 14 more, returned 2 fumbles for TDs and blocked 3 punts,  All South Regional Team, All State, recruited by So. Miss. and Ga. Southern, 4.6 speed.

1997 SC Super 25 Pick, Shrine Bowl, All State, All Region in 1997, led state in tackles last 2 years, bench presses 400 lbs, good long snapper, also recruited by Furman, Citadel, SC State, 4.7 speed.

Leading tackler on team last 2 years, All Conference & Cleveland County MVP, played on 2 state championship teams (one at Burns HS), Conference Co-Defensive MVP with Shammar Finney (Penn State signee), great quickness, 4.8 speed.

All Conference 4 years, All County & All Northwest NC past 2 years, over 250 tackles, very physical head hunter type, recruited by N.C. State, WCU (brother plays there), 4.65 speed.

Shrine Bowl, All State 2 years, All Conference 4 years, Duke wanted to sign, 4.9 speed. 

Jermain Kilby         RB         5'11"         175             Thomasville, NC             Thomasville, HS
All Conference, 921 yards - 6.8 yards per carry, 16 TDs senior year, one of the top sprinters in NC, 2nd in 1997 state track meet 200 meter dash, qualified for National HS Indoor Track Meet in 55 meter dash, ran a personal best 6.07, also recruited by WCU, 4.4 speed.

1st team All Region & Honorable Mention All State as senior, has ability to be a stand up player or down lineman, also recruited by Ga. Southern & Furman, 5.0 speed. 

Desmond Miller         DL         6'3"         250             Kannapolis, NC             A.L. Brown HS
Shrine Bowl, All Conference, All Piedmont, All Charlotte Observer, HS team was 1997 3-A state champions, 2 way starter at OL & DL, Most Valuable Lineman at A.L. Brown HS, extremely strong, also recruited by Chattanooga & Furman.

Ga. Military College, All Region, All State in HS, extremely quick for size, also recruited by Miss. State, 4.6 speed. 

Justin Seaverns         DB         6'1"         180             Adairsville, GA             Adairsville HS
Honorable Mention All State, 1st Team All Area, Bartow Co. Player of Year, team MVP Defense & Special Teams, also played DB and returned kicks, smart, intense kid who can run, 1997 state champion wrestler, currently 37-0 in matches, also recruited by Ga. Southern, 4.6 speed.

Recruited Walk On, led team in tackles and sacks for 2nd year in a row, quick & agile for size, turned down scholarship from Catawba, 5.0 speed. 

James Vasquez         DL         6'4"         260             Keller, TX             Fossil Ridge HS
1st Team All District, District 8AAAA DL of Year, Academic All District Team, outstanding baseball player. 

Daniel Wilcox          WR         6'2"         215             Atlanta, GA             Decatur HS/Ga. Military College
All South Regional Team, All State in HS, 2 year starter for Ga. Military, led Bulldogs in receiving with 758 yards and 9 TD receptions, received recruiting interest from some SEC & ACC schools and Ga. Southern.  Coaches say even though we're loaded at WR he's too good an athlete to pass on, 4.7 speed.
