October 28, 1988 Well, the action continues here in the NEWF, and so
do the surprises. After Armageddon, the Lords of the Ring disappeared
for a long time, leaving many thinking that they had run away. That
wasn't the case however, as the Lords made their triumphant return last
NEWF Saturday Night, with the Royal Security Force there in full force
They did a number on many NEWF stars, as well as the Commishioner, Clayton
Leach. But that was countered earlier tonight as Mark Paris made
his return to the NEWF, helping his friend Most Holy, and the rest of 25:17,
get some revenge on the Lords, by blowing up their limo and beating up
Thor Maelstrom, Tim Tempest and Matt Cascade. Needless to say, the
Lords were not pleased by this. Also on the Fight Zone, we saw Speed
Racer "defeat" Storm to retain the U.S. Title. Unfortunately for
Storm, he picked a bad time to challenge for the U.S. Title, as he was
was brutally attacked not only by the Crusade, but also by the Hell Spawned
Demons. However, Mostest had some words for Speed Racer, and the
two will now face off this weekend for the U.S. Title. Also tonight,
we saw Sinister Sean Blake defeat Brad Steel and the Showstopper for a
shot at the NEWF World Title this Saturday. He has definitely earned
the shot, but the question is, will he be able to defeat the red hot Alex
Star. Only time will tell. We'll see you this Saturday!
