Gonzalez sits out with Sore Neck

Juan Gonzalez woke up Sunday feeling stiffness in the left side of his neck and sat out Sunday night's game against the Red Sox. The Rangers announced it as stiffness in the trapezius muscle. He received treatment and heat for the injury. "He came in 15 minutes before the game and said his neck was stiff and didn't think he would be able to play," manager Johnny Oates said. Gonzalez said he expects to play Tuesday at Cleveland.
