Gant and Larussa still at odds.
Three months after the St. Louis Cardinals traded Ron Gant, he and former manager Tony La Russa are still exchanging insults.
Immediately after he was dealt to the Philadelphia Phillies, Gant popped off about Mark McGwire batting third instead of fourth. On Tuesday, Gant even accused La Russa of racism.
"Rickey Henderson didn't like him, Royce Clayton didn't like him," Gant told reporters in Clearwater, Fla. "He treated Ozzie Smith like dirt. Brian Jordan didn't like him. I don't know too many people who did like him."
