NO BABIES ALLOWED FANTASY FOOTBALL LEAGUE
1. Franchise cost:
Cost this year will be $55 per team and $5 for every player pickup, trade, or injured reserve transaction. We will be collecting $75 at the start, which will cover you for 4 player pickups throughout the year. This includes regular player pickups, injured reserve moves, and trades. There will be no charge when the player comes off injured reserve. The total of this pool will be split by the owner who has the player with the most fantasy points in the following positions: Quarterback, Running Back, Wide Receiver. In order to eligible for this amount, the player must be on a roster on draft day. If you do not use up your 4 transactions, you will get your money back at the end of the year. If you use more than 4 transactions, you will be charged for them at the end of the year. All final payouts and collections will be made during the New Years Day Poker Party. It is broken down as follows:Cost: $75 X 10 teams = $750
Year End Payout: 1st place = $ 220
2nd place = $ 120

Subtotal = $ 530
FFLM Software program $ 20
Subtotal = $ 550
4 transactions @ $5 each X 10 teams $ 200
Total = $ 750
2. Web site: The web site for the No Babies Allowed Fantasy Football League is located at /gelly1/home.html You will be able to view all reports on this web page including: Scores and Standings, Scoring Breakdown, Fantasy Rosters, Player Stats, Kitty Summary and Fantasy Schedule. You will be able to submit your lineup each week on this web site. There will also be a message board on this site that you can use to auction for players each week.
3. Draft: We will be conducting an auction draft in this league. The order of the draft will be determined by last year’s results. The person with the worst record the year before will draft first and will announce the name of any player and how much he wishes to bid on him. The minimum bid is $2 and everyone has a salary cap of $100. These are fantasy dollars and not actual dollars. Everyone will then have an opportunity to bid on that player with the highest bidder getting the player. We will then continue on until everyone has 13 players. There are no requirements as to how many players from each position that you draft. Everyone will draft 13 players and start 7 players as follows:
Draft: Any 13 players from any position
Start: 1 Quarterback
2 Running Backs
2 Wide Receivers/Tight Ends
1 Kicker
1 Defensive Team
4. Keepers, and Salary Cap: There is a $100 salary cap for each team. No draft pick, trade, or player pickup will be official until the commissioner has made sure that it keeps your team under the salary cap. When a player is drafted, he will be assigned a salary amount and length of contract of 3 years. His salary will not change if he is kept the following year. The longest that you may keep a player is 3 years. The most players that you can keep is 5, however you do not have to keep any.
5. Starting Lineup: Everyone will need to submit their starting lineup prior to the kickoff of the first game each week. Starting lineups should be submitted via the web site at http://www.geocities.com/gelly1/home.html This will send your starting lineup to the commissioner, your opponent for the week, and also back to your own email address. If you cannot get to the web page, you can always call in your lineup at 357-8131. If you don’t submit your lineup, your prior week’s lineup will be used. The commissioner can make obvious changes for you if it’s a quarterback or kicker who are off that week, but he can’t pick and choose running backs and wide receivers for you.
6. Waivers, Trades and Injuries: You will be allowed to pick up and drop players throughout the year. The cost for each transaction is $5. The player pick ups will be held in an auction format. You must notify the commissioner of what player you want by Thursday night each week. You can notify him via the message board on the web site, or by calling him at 357-8131. If more than one person wants the same player, the commissioner will let those people know and they will need to contact each other to bid on that player. You will have to be careful not to exceed your $100 salary cap. If a player gets injured, you can drop him until he gets healed and then get him back when he is back playing. He has to be completely out of the game to be considered injured. If you have a person on injured reserve and he plays, you will lose the points for whoever you picked up for that player. You can exceed your maximum number of players (13) if you have players on injured reserve. There is a fee of $5 for an injured reserve transaction. There will be no fee when you take the player off injured reserve. Trades can also be made at any time. There is a $5 fee for each person involved in the trade. When you acquire a player, you also acquire his salary for the remaining years of his contract. If it is the last year of his contract, you cannot keep that player the next year. All trades will be reviewed by the commissioner before they become official to make sure that everyone is under the salary cap.
7. Schedule and Playoffs: There will be 14 weeks of regular season games with every team playing every team in its division twice and 6 other games outside the division. The playoffs will be held in weeks 15 and 16, and no games held week 17. There will be 2 divisions with the winners of each division being seeded 1 and 2. The next 2 best records will make the playoffs and be seeded 3 and 4. The team seeded 1 will play the team seeded 4 and the team seeded 2 will play the team seeded 3. The winners will advance to the championship game that will be held week 16.
