Up comes our 'C' after 60 years in the mud.

The rescue train ready to leave Westport Yards. Complete with heavy crane and digger on board.

As it was after 60 years.

First a hole was dug around the loco.

Up on its feet.

The climb back up to the railway line starts, the wheels were turning too.

The climb back continues. The smoke comes from a fire lit in the smokebox, it did not help however!

Up as far as the waiting train.

The lift onto the train

On the train and on its way home to Westport..

And all the tired helpers follow the train back.
