TEXAS LONE STAR LEAGUE

|
The Lone Star League was founded in 1998 by several employees at the Texas State Capitol. Most of our current membership either works at the Capitol, formerly worked at the Capitol, or was a roomate of a Capitol employee. 7 of the 12 current owners were original owners in the then-10 team LSL. Both owners from the 1999 expansion are current owners. Only 3 franchises have changed ownership since the inception of the LSL, despite mulitple threats by many owners to leave the league. As we complete our first decade, we will all remember Randy-gate, Pat-gate, and Blaine and Allan being banned from ever handling our funds, but we will also remember that at the end of the day, we actually are friends. Good luck to everyone for the 2007 LSL season, and here's to another decade of fantasy football fun! |
