Alissa Adler soon to be Onopa is someone who did disappoint at SBI 7. Rumors of a strong family bowling background, excessively high scores, and dominant command of the lanes were shot down with a sub-par performance. Maybe it was just her way of easing into the tournament without upsetting too many people. Maybe she knew of the future handicap situation and wanted to improve her chances for The Ocho. Either way, the committee wasn't fooled. We know that Alissa is a good bowler, and expectations are once again high for this year
