Ma Noo Baby :-)
I remember when I had my accident that I promised myself a new frame when I could ride again. Unfortunately, life intervened, and each time I really thought seriously about it I came back to the fact that getting a frame that I really would enjoy would just cost too much money.

Then fate cast her fickle hand and one day while riding Ol' Faithful, a pothole was struck (I didn't aim at it, honest) and a nasty crack was heard, followed by some horrendous grating all the way home....

Without further ado the advice was sought of the inimitable and much respected....nay, even famous (in his own lunch time) Rick Denney as to what I should get.

The following Tuesday (Monday was the 4th July holiday !!) found me on the telephone to Florida ordering my new shiny frame which arrived the same Friday - great service thanks Steve :-)

Below are some pictures from building it up, for those people motivated enough, it is a Habanero Titanium Time Trial/Triathlon frame, with a Profile Bladed fork and Campagnolo components. For more details, click here - Habanero

In the tradition of the Tri-DRS E-Mail list as to naming of bicycles, she has been called Xi Wang, which means to hope, to desire or to wish for.

And the most important thing, how does it ride - beautifully. Much more comfortable than the C'Dale, not just in position, but also on long rides I just don't get beaten up as much, the bumps just flow underneath me. It also handles much more cleanly, and it is wonderful to once more ride a bike that makes no sounds other than the purr of the tires on the road.
Early on in the build - note it is still tidy...
Nearly done.....
Side on view nearly finished...
Oh dear - did I really make this much mess ??
