We live in Rotterdam and you can imagine how exited we were when we heard that Pat was playing at the ABN AMRO tournament. So to be sure that we don't miss anything we bought tickets for the whole week (we are missing out on the finals right now). Monday we saw Pat play a young Dutch player, ranked somewhere in the 200, and he almost lost. But he made it, the fighter he is. So we could breathe again.
And then on Tuesday he was signing stuff at the reebok stand. And of course we were there. He was so sweet. And he is more gorgeous in person (if that is possible). We read he likes chocolates so we bought him some. He called us "wicked girls". Told us how nobody had done that for him before. Then he continued to say how chocolates are bad for him and how he is going to get fat now. We told him that wouldn't matter, he would still look good to us. And he smiled. He singed our Aussie flag.And promised us he wouldn't scare us anymore like he did in his first match. Of course we took pictures of him and he looks so good on them. His voice is so sexy by the way. At the end he said:" Bye girls see you later."
But it didn't end there. We saw him one more time after that (beside the matches). He was sweet again. Said how he liked our chocolates.Waved us goodbye and told us how he is gonna come back next year, but we doubt that. As you all know he lost in the quarter-finals to Siemerink. We did everything to try and pull him trough that match but it wasn't to be. He did thank us for supporting him so it was not for nothing.
And now he is gone.We have been feeling so miserable since he left. We don't know when we are going to see him again. Hope it doesn't last a long time cause we aren't gonna be able to cope with that. So that was our Pat experience. We just had to share it with you. P.S Mandy , thanks for putting those Rayban pics of Pat on your site and keeping us updated on our darling Pat. One more thing, we met Greg Rusedski as well, he is nice as well (doesn't look as good as Pat though).
