Internet connection in my hotel is awful. I have just 2 min to say HI to everybody.

m telling you guys, Pat was beautiful tonight as usually! After the match he just passes the whole crowed and went directly to us, to say “thank you girls for the support !”. I didn’t even ask for that but he said “what should I sign? ….flag …t-shirt? “ I was frozen cause I didn’t expect that and didn’t want to bother him after the match, I swear that was his decision. What a sweetie! It was just a few of us, but we made the whole stadium cheering for Pat. BTW I got 100’s questions like “where are you from? ( I was with OZ flag, OZ cap, fanatic’s T-s, roos) , and when I said “from Russia” I got 200’s question like “ why?…what?… “ Kisses, hugs to everybody!!!

Saturday March 23, was the craziest day of the Ericsson. To many people at the stadium, too hot, too many great matches on different courts… and a day when I met my new and ‘old’ friends!

Unfortunately for me, I had to pay more attention to my family at that day (I thought I’m forgiven for that, yes girls?) I didn’t even had enough time to talk to Jac, sorry jac! I met Laura from NY, BTW we live about 10-15 blocks from each other and met in Miami. Diane I have to tell you. You have so many energy, sometimes it seems like fire in the ….you know. You have to run a huge company, you have all qualities and abilities. Ericsson wouldn’t be the same without your help, thanks a lot! Unfortunately my Oz flag didn’t help at the semifinal….

You guys probable tired to read something like: “…. From court 1, I go to court 2, them I had a drink, and then I was… bla, bla, bla….” (he, he..)

I want to explain my feeling after the trip.

Every day you open “Rafterbabbler” site as a usual thing. Have you ever think that our ‘community’ is unique! Not just great, friendly, nice, supportive …UNIQUE.

To meet the people you never met in your life and talk to them like to the oldest friends (…not too old.‘lol’). Isn’t it a miracle?

Thank you Robyn, for all you effort and hard work! That’s all your merit!

And our Pat…. So many good words we already said about him, his family, his spirit and so on, but he is really a source of good surprises, and great example for the youngsters ( and “oldsters” BTW.he, he)

It was too hot when he played with Federrer, and also he was surrounded with other young fans, we where, I would say, very far from them, holding Roos and flag just to say ‘Bravo Pat! Great job Mate! And as I said before, he passed the whole crowd, and jumped straight to us. My daughter was shocked, she said: ”Mom we didn’t ask him, he did it himself, what a nice guy!” BTW my daughter was very popular at this tournament. At the last day she even got ice-cream ($5.50) for free, ice-cream-guy, said “I know you! Show me your famous “TV- Roo” and you will get an ice-cream” (hopefully he would like to see only kangaroo ‘lol’)

Lleyton has to learn a LOT from Pat, for example, how to give an autographs even if you lost, how to be nice with your fans who are traveling around the world to support you, and so on. But we can wait… he is too young. He is soooooo young like a baby, he even asked Kim to buy him “nuts in sugar” after the double match, and I have this moment on camera (grin).

Love you all,

Olga
