I had such a great time in Miami! Everyone was so nice and we all enjoyed great tennis. Special thanks to Diane for help promote CF and for Noor to get Pat's practice times! Everyone was all so sweet!
I did get a couple autographs from Pat (I do not want rub it in for Kirsten's sake). Along with that I got to speak from him as he walk from one end of the grounds to the other with Joyce W. He was very happy about our efforts to help promote CF. He said he will probably wear his tattoo at DC. He liked the t-shirts Kirsten had made and goes what exactly do you got there? Also, he asked Joyce where she was from from her accent and that is where I made myself look like a total dumbass and go "I'm from Autin, Tx" Pat goes something like I know that is close to Newk's tennis ranch. I was walking in cloud nine with Joyce and the fact that he was actually talking to us and seemed interested in what we had to say.
I am going to miss everyone and will see Scudchick, Kirsten, cReepy and Ann Marie at the Hamlet and Us Open. For sure the US OPEN if Kirsten and I do not end in New Jersey! We will be sure and catch flappers and waffles in New York. For now I will be at the Rafter's Sc**w! Sorry if the rest do not know the slang talk but the Miami Babblers will know! Right now I'm so excited to have seen Pat play live much less converse with him and get autographs!
