THE HOME OF OMFW!

The boys, July 9, 2002. Wardrobe courtesy of Nana Tilly Knitting, NZ.

Here is a little picture of Sean's head, taken the morning after our first trip (and almost certainly NOT our last) to Pomerado Emergency Room. Just three staples; no big deal...

Cam recently lost both his front teeth. Well, one was loose and came out on its own, but Dad yanked the other one out with a string. Obviously, he's gotten over it...

Putting hockey skills to good use in everyday life. I think CCM should incorporate this photo into their ad campaign. My neighbor Tim suggested the following tag line, "Sometimes you've got to choose your battles."

Welcome to my always 'under construction' site!!! I am a lifelong resident of "America's Finest City." I graduated with my Bachelor's degree from San Diego State University in 1997 with my Bachelor's in Kinesiology, and I am my thesis short of a Master's in Physical Education. I played a/very little rugby during my last undergraduate year at SDSU, and would love to get back into playing recreational ice hockey. Unfortunately, I don't play as often as is necessary to keep getting better, what with the time requirements of family, school and my job as a middle school mathematics teacher at Bear Valley Middle School. As you can see on this page, my teams are the Blackhawks, Iron Plum, 2005 World Series Champion White Sox, Jaguars, and New Zealand All Blacks; I try to go to at least a couple games in Anaheim each season to see the Pale Hose, and luckily the AL Central played interleague against the NL West this year, so I got to see all three games of a weekend 2005 World Series Champion Chicago White Sox series at Petco Park. I still haven't been to a Jags game YET (long distance romances are hard). In 2001 I attended my first Blackhawks game up at Arrowhead Pond, and I also saw the New Zealand All Blacks rugby team play Manu Samoa in Albany (New Zealand, not New York). I welcome feedback on my effort here, positive or negative (although I disregard negative feedback), and my e-mail link is found at the bottom of the page...
Included in my links is a connection to some photos of my best friends and future rugby, hockey, and golf sensations, Cameron and Sean Richards!!! There are some other pix as well, but most are of Cam and Sean...
Cameron turned ELEVEN years old this past December 22, and Sean turned EIGHT on January 8, 2006. Sean not only shares his birthday with his Paternal Great Grandmother, he also shares it with Elvis Presley and Stephen Hawking. Let's hope he gets the rhythm of Elvis and the brains of Hawking, not the other way around...
