We even failed to finish above Armenia, no disrespect intended but now our previously excellent qualifying record (for a country as small as NornIron) seems light years away.

Defeats against Albania and failing to take the chances we had against Armenia seem doubly frustrating when you consider our excellent performances against Germany (away) and both matches against Portugal.

And now Germany qualify from the group as winners, whilst the plucky Ukrainians must go into a play off.
