NEWS- The original man who played "Bruiser" the Bulldogs mascot has left to become the mascot for the Ottawa Senators, he will be sadly missed, as the trek for a new man to be Bruiser begins =) - Bulldogs lost Marko Tuomainen to Finland, he signed a one year contract to play for HIFK. - The Oilers re-signed defenseman Scott Ferguson, who was a steady defenseman all year long for the Bulldogs. They also signed center Scott Fraser, who should be a Bulldog next year. - Center Eric Landry has signed on with another NHL team. The Hamilton Spectator reports that his signing will become official soon. The team has not yet been released. Good luck to him with his new team! - Assistant Coach Mike Fedorko has left his position with the Bulldogs to become a head coach in Italy. Good luck to him! - Oilers signed Draft Pick Mike Watt to a multi-year deal. Expect him to ink the lineup with the Bulldogs. - The Oilers signed Doug Friedman, who had been playing with the Hershey Bears last years. Look for him to try and takeover Dennis Bonvie's place if he leaves. - Defenseman Troy Neumeier has left to play with a team in England's "Ice Hockey Super League" Good luck to him, and his family! - The Oilers signed Kyle Peterson, Who probably will play with the Bulldogs this season. - The Bulldogs have moved into the Empire Division to lower costs of travel. They will now face the Adirondack Red Wings, Albany River Rats, Rochester Americans and Syracuse Crunch 8-9 times a year instead of the 3 Canadian teams. This may not be good for attendance, but we'll just have to wait and see. - Here is the current "Who's Here, Who's Gone" List.
