Malta Wins Team Point Trophy at 2005 Schuylkill Navy Turkey Trot
For the 6th straight year Malta wins the Men's team point trophy at the 102nd running of the Schuylkill Navy Turkey Trot - Arguably the oldest run cross country race in the US. Shane Madden was the first to cross the line after having dismissed a collegiate runner.

Malta Wins Open 4x at the 2005 Head of the Schuylkill
Shane Madden, John Hayburn, Matt Arria and Brandon O'Brien started off first and never looked back (except for Shane who had to call the boat to a halt after coming within inches of the Girard Bridge) as they won the open 4x by 8 seconds over Penn AC. Check out the results here.

Malta Scullers Take 3 of Top 4 Spots at the 2005 Head of the Connecticut
Cutting through the wind and the rain Shane Madden Wins the LWT 1x, Matt Arria finishes 3rd, Brandon O'Brien finishes 4th. See results here.

Three Boats Named At Intra-Club Regatta
Mike Brown won the club single championship in his namesake boat "Michael Brown." The "Spirit of Stehlik" and "Paul Schugsta" doubles were also named. Congrats to Mike Brown for winning the club championship and Fred Duling Sr. who avenged his 30 year loss to Rick Stehlik.

Joan and Jack Sholl presented with The Dr. George Morton Illman Award
At a Gala Champagne Party, on March 19, 2005, Joan and Jack Sholl were presented with The Dr. George Morton Illman Award for 2004. Read more here.
