The Deadheads are a hockey team made up of Air Traffic Controllers from Los Angeles Enroute Air Traffic Control Center in Palmdale, CA and a few of our friends that are crazy enough to fit in with us. We play every Tuesday at The Ice Chalet in Panorama City. Every year during the first week of March we play in an International ATC Tournament at different locations throughout the World. If you are into hockey it is one of the coolest traditions I have ever been around. The tournament for 2000 is in Moscow ( that's Russia not Idaho). Previous tournaments have been in Finland, Halifax, Vancouver, Minneapolis and Winnipeg. This page has information about our Tournaments and local games. PEACE. |
