We've got a love jones for Eddie, now officially with the Miami Heat. Eddie was the main attraction in what was the first blockbuster deal to happen in the off-season. Eddie was sent to Miami for PJ Brown along with other Hornet and Heat players. This should fulfill EJ's two wishes of a lucrative contract and playing on a playoff contender team. He also gets to go back near his hometown of Pompano Beach. We wish Eddie well and know that he is headed for something big (read: bling bling) this year. Hope you enjoy our new revamped jonz6 site. Top rumors---nipped in the bud:

1. (LA Times) The Lakers tried to get Eddie back for a trade with Rice, to no avail.

2. (LA Times) As a last resort, Eddie would have signed for the max with the Bulls.

3. (NBC) A four team trade was to happen with Eddie to the Sixers, Rice to the Hornets, Iverson to Detroit, and Laettner to the Lakers.
