Lady
TERMINATORS
NEWS
05/15/02 - Well our season was brought to an abrupt end last night at the hands of a good Storm team. I think we arrived late for the game mentally and our opponent was prepared and took it to us. None-the-less we had a successful season where we learned alot about the game and ourselves. The team should be proud of what it did accomplish against girls a year older. I am very proud of them and grateful I have the group of parents that I do. I wouldn't trade them for anything.
Tournament Time!! Saturday in Lewisville (again) for the Carey Girls Invitational...
05/14/02 - Lady Terminators '94 News for May 13th - 19th
05/13/02 - We finished the regular season undefeated (10-0-0) and we took 1st place in Div. II play. We scored 31 goals while giving up only 5. We are having fun and the playoffs start tomorrow (5/14). If the girls continue playing like they are and the parents continue the support, I think we can be the BEST U9 GIRL'S TEAM IN ALL OF MESQUITE! Again, this will not be an easy accomplishment because we have some very tough opponents yet to play. Starting Tuesday night. So let's keep our head right with ball and be prepared to fight to the final whistle because that is what champions do. Click here to see the U9G playoff schedule.
05/09/02 - Parent handout from practice 05/08/02.
05/08/02 - Playoff dates have been added to the Practice Schedule page: Click here to go there now.

GAME TIME CHANGE:
Our game against the Mustangs on Sat. May 11th will be at
12:45 at Eastfield on field 12. Please note that this is a different time than
what is on the schedule...
What a fun time at the Tide
Tournament! Since this is a U6-U8 tournament only, we will be too old (u9) )to
play next Spring. A big thanks to N. Texas Soccer for putting this affordable
tournament on and allowing us to participate. We played hard both of
our games including against a very good Comet's team who had 3 guest players as
well. It was fun watching such a competitive game with so many skilled players
on both teams. ALSO: We have clinched first place in U9G Div II with one
game remaining. All the parents & coaches are so proud of you girls! We have more work
to do! Playoffs! Remember EVERYBODY - Keep it FUN and always PLAY TO THE
WHISTLE! I will have the Carey Girls Invitational (May 18th) information
up soon.
05/01/02 - What a season so far. There is no way I would have believed we would be 9-0 at this point in the season while playing teams a year older than us. I will never doubt what these girls can achieve again. They have made a believer out of me. If the Mustangs tie or lose one of their next three, we will wrap up first place no matter what the outcome is when we play the Mustangs for our final game May 11. Don't forget: 2002 Tide North Texas US Youth Soccer American Cup coming up this Sunday. Schedule can be found here (we play 05/05/02).
04/11/02 - Waco was a blast! But it rained all day! I don't think the girls minded it though and we had alot of fun despite the weather. We won 2 and lost 1. Thanks to all the girls who played their heart out and thanks to the parents who brought them out and bared the weather. And a special thanks to former Terminator Kyra for guest playing for us. Our next tournament will be the 2002 Tide North Texas US Youth Soccer American Cup played at the Bob Jones Soccer Fields in Grapevine/Southlake coming up May 4 -5 where we will play Kyra's current team the N. Dallas CC Comet's.
03/21/02 - PRACTICE TIME CHANGE - Link to practice schedule.
03/19/02 - Well we played our U8 nemesis the Heartbreakers. We played well again and earned ourselves a 4-0 victory. Pictures are here. Tacia is playing awesome, Abi and Hollyann made a great go with a 2-touch (IDFK) restart that was the result of Tricia playing hard and getting fouled in the penalty area. I have no idea why the ref did not award Tricia with a PK. Abi, Tanner and Kayla gobble everything up that comes their way in the back. Our midfield players Haley, Shelby, Breeane, Amanda, Tricia and Hollyann are doing a great job but need to work on balance and depth, which we will do at practice on Thursday at 6:00 @ the practice facility. Claudia and Sarah were not there due to prior engagements but hopefully will return for Saturdays game.
03/08/02 - Our first game was a success. Not only on the scoreboard but in terms of teamwork as well. The team played well and I think they enjoyed getting "outdoor" again. The new players fit in well and showed lots of effort. We have practice scheduled for next week but we get the weekend off for spring break.
Ok, we're not newbie's anymore, so from now on we should know where to sit when we play at Bruton. Home team gets bleachers, visitors don't, for now. Two new bleachers for Bruton has been proposed to the City of Mesquite so both teams will have bleachers in the future. I think we will get them pretty soon. If you don't now if we're home or visitor look here.
03/06/02 - Opening game that was to be played on March 02 was cancelled due to weather. Rescheduled to be played Sunday March 24, 2:15pm Eastfield #12. Updated our picture page, check it out.
02/28/02 -
We have two new players and a new Asst. Coach. The
players are Breeane and Tricia. Tricia's father Tim will be Coach Scott's
assistant coach starting in the Spring 2002 season.
Coach Tim has a 'C'
National License. Welcome to the team Breeane, Tricia and Coach Tim!
Don't forget we have a scrimmage tonight at 7:00 pm
@ Bruton.
