Home of the 1997 Lewisburg All-Stars

Check out the tournament and how we did!

Welcome! This is the Home of the 1997 Lewisburg Senior Division All-Stars. In the summer of 1997 we began with Northumberland and somehow played against Latin America, and Europe, what happened? Well let me explain. In early July, Ryder Mathias and Scott Schade were thinking about how nice it would be to go to Kissimmee, Fla. to play in the Senior League World Series. Only a few of realized that it could happen. As the games went on, winning Area II, District 13, Section 3, PA State Champs, Eastern Regional Champions, and finishing FOURTH IN THE WORLD. We realized that our dream came true, we made it to the Senior League World Series. It was a dream come true, we got a lot of experience and we also played on many great fields. Especially Osceola County Stadium(home of the Kissimmee Cobras, and Houston Astros), most of our team is participating in this years Junior Olympics in Tucson, Arizona. Our team has previously won, district 13 when we were 12, and PA State Champs when we were 13. But this tops our whole Little League career off. The whole team would like to thank all of the sponsors and stuff paid for while we were on this dream come true journey. A very special thanks to all of the coaches who put up with us during the summer. The summer of 1997 made the whole team become very close as friends. You'll probably see one of us in the pro's someday, so look for us.
