Scoring has been in a decline since the 92-93 season, where there were fourteen players with over fifty goals. But this year we had four. Since the rise of the defense, team and player goals have been down. Most teams are based on defense other than offense. Back then you didn't hear about many goalies, seems now there are numerous big name goalies. They stuff some of the best snippers and finesse scorers in the NHL.
