Welcome to my shrine to the NHL's best pure goal-scorer, Peter Bondra. What makes him so great is that not only is he the fastest skater in the NHL, but he also has a deadly arsenal of shots. He can beat the goaltender with a quick wrister, or a slapper that is among the best in the league. Not only that, he'll utilize these shots from anywhere, any time.
Bondra is a weapon on the power play, but also makes teams jittery while he kills penalties. If the pointman makes a mistake (ie, "telegraphing" a pass over to the other pointman) Bondra swipes the puck and you won't catch him. Bondra is the total package for goal scoring.
Since the beginning of the '93-'94 season, only one player, Jagr, has lit the lamp more often than Peter Bondra.
Bondra, #12 for the Caps, is also a good guy off the ice. He'll always stick around after practice to sign a few autographs for his fans.
