Please note that the draw is made on a regional basis (North Wales and South Wales). Mid-Wales clubs play in different areas, dependant upon geography and their League of Wales position in the previous season.
Aberystwyth Town and Caersws play in the South Wales area, while Rhayader Town, Total Network Solutions and Newtown are in the North Wales draw.
The preliminary round is made up of the two promoted sides (Afan Lido and Holywell Town), against the worst placed sides from the previous season(who avoided relegation), these being Haverfordwest County in South Wales, and Rhayader in the North Wales section.
The original draw featured Ebbw Vale, who were later expelled from the League of Wales and all associated competitions. Their would-be opponents, Cwmbran Town, received a bye into the Second Round of the competitions.
Games are played over one-leg, with a replay, extra-time and penalties being played as necessary.
