Jeff's Page

Hi, I'm Jeff I was born in 1961 in a small town in England called Cinderford. I came to California in 1989 to work for Hewlett-Packard in Cupertino. I am one of the leaders of the Kids In Charge Klub (KICK) at Regnart Elementary School. The main goal of the KICK is to improve the access and use of technology at the school. There are three teams in the club:

1. Support: This team helps to maintain the computing environment at Regnart
2. Media Arts: This team runs a local TV station at the school
3. Internet: This team maintains the Regnart web site

I am in charge of the Internet team and I help the students design and manage the Regnart web site.

At work I design computer systems designed to operate over the Internet. In my spare time am involved in a number of activities. I have two daughters who keep me very busy. I really enjoy sports, when I was younger I played Rugby which everyone thinks is like American Football but is is actually very different. See my links page to find a description of Rugby. I enjoy coaching sports and I normally coach both soccer and basketball which is great fun. I really enjoy basketball, it is a game I never played but I really enjoy watching it and coaching it. My favorite team is the Stanford Cardinal.

• The Royal Forest of Dean. This is the area in England where I grew up and went to school.
• Rugby News is a really good site for those interested in the sport of Rugby.
• Blue Peter was my favorite TV show when I was in Elementary School. It is still on TV in the UK today!
• The NASA web site is a great resource for space nuts like me. I particularly like the Apollo links, I was 8 years old when Armstrong walked on the moon it was the most spectacular thing I have ever seen.
• The West San Jose National Junior Basketball League. I am the web master for this league so be sure to check out site.
• Regnart PTA. This is another web site I maintain on behalf of the Parent Teacher Association at Regnart.
